A member of the Farm who is also involved with the Valley Promotion Group is part of the Campaign for Real Farming and has written an article here all about the flavour of the perfect strawberry. It includes the Farm's strawberries and can be read here. Many thanks to Suzanne Wynn for this item.
Whilst picking strawberries grown off the ground may be a lot less back-breaking, it seems that soil grown organically grown strawberries like those we grow on the farm are best for flavour! I'd agree with that having picked and eaten some on Saturday - yum!
