Produce is now coming through from our own field and is being included in our vegetable boxes next week (week beginning 24th June). Look out for chard, spring greens, lettuces and kohlrabi. Kohlrabi is an alien-looking vegetable and many people wonder what to do with it. Eaten raw in salads (sliced or grated), it's deliciously crispy, light and fresh, but it can also be roasted. We've added a sumptuous looking crostini recipe to our site which uses roast kohlrabi to create a great starter or snack. Remember to peel the kohlrabi first if eating raw - the skin is quite tough. The leaves can also be cooked - treat them as you would spinach.
