Farm Explorers - Activity Day

If you're keen to get your little one(s) outdoors this summer and re-connected with food and the natural world then this Farm Explorers activity day is just the ticket!

We have limited spaces for five to eight year olds to join us and we will be exploring the bountiful fields of The Community Farm in Chew Magna, harvesting crops and preparing pizzas in our wood-fired oven to share for lunch. We'll then spend the afternoon playing games on the fields and taking on the role of mini-explorers as we get up close with some mini-beasts on the farm and have a go at pond-dipping.

Who:

Claire Rosling from Earthwise will be leading the day. Claire has been running educational visits and activity days at The Community Farm for over three years.

She is a qualified Forest School Leader, first aid trained and CRB checked. All volunteers present on the day will also have an enhanced CRB check.

Where:

Farm Explorers days are being held at The Community Farm.

Cancellation:

We can offer full refunds up until two weeks before the date of the event. After that we are only able to offer a refund if we can find someone to fill your space.
