- Wassail 2025
As the earth begins to come out of its winter slumber come and wake up the apple trees at The Community Farm!
Come and gather around the fire, to toast and bless the orchard trees, and learn traditional Wassail songs with folk singer-songwriter Susanna Waters. This year we'll also be joined by the incredible folk band from Three Hares Farm, who'll be accompanying you while you make your fabulous Wassail crown and take part in a whole host of other brilliant natural crafts (or simply sit back and enjoy whilst sipping on your delicious cider!).
We'll be serving up seasonal soups and gorgeous apple juice from our fields, as well as homemade cakes and hot drinks. Remember to add a raffle ticket to your ticket booking (they'll also be available on the day) as we've got some wonderful prizes including:
2x Yeo Valley Organic Garden season tickets; A pottery workshop from Source Ceramics; £30 vouchers from the Better Food Company and many more...
All our takings from this event help us nourish community and wildlife through food. Please give generously if you can.
*Please note that this is an outdoor event so if we need to cancel due to the weather, we will notify you by January 23rd 2024.
