The sun shone and we welcomed over 300 people to our Harvest Celebration on Saturday. We offered farm tours, veg for sale, food from Mel's Kitchen and The Story Group, fabulous ice-cream from Chew Moos, some great tombola prizes, painting with vegetables, a salad competition for children, a talk from Helen Browning, organic grower's question time featuring our very own Andy Dibben, Ben Raskin, Phil Haughton and Ian Sumpter and music from Woe to the Provoker.
People walked, cycled (from the local area and from Bristol), caught the Bristol Community Transport minibus we'd organised and also brought their cars too (we working on getting more people out of their cars next year and on to sustainable transport!).
The day was rounded off by a visit from some vintage tractors on their annual tour of the Chew Valley.
A huge thank you to all of those who helped us before the event and on the day. I won't name them all here as I may miss someone and wouldn't want to do that!
If you came, we hope you had a great time and will come back again next year. If you weren't able to come - see you next time!
