Some of you will know that for the past two years we have been winners in the Winford Scarecrow Competition - photo of one of our entries attached.
As a build up to this year's event, the organisers have arranged an Easter Egg Hunt. Here are the details.
You may have heard that hidden in the Chew Valley from 4-25 April are 13 gigantic eggs waiting to be found. The eggs have been decorated by children at primary schools and pre-schools all around the valley and hope to inspire the community's creative talents!
To take part in the great hunt, simply egg-plore the locations listed on the attached egg trail sheet. Each unique egg displays a letter. When put together, all 13 letters will spell out an exciting title - the theme to Harvey's Scarecrow Trail 2014 arriving in the Chew Valley later in the year.
If you have time this Easter, do go and explore and see what message the eggs spell out. You can email your answer to and follow the hunt online at www.facebook.com/harveyscarecrow
