Yesterday when we sat down to lunch we realised that everything on 3 out of 4 plates of Sunday roast was from The Community Farm. I was the one who failed - being vegetarian, my nut roast wasn't all locally sourced!
The plate in the photo features some of the most fantastic potatoes you've ever eaten, along with delicious carrots, beans and cabbage. The pork chops were from the pork box we recently bought too.
Just 10 miles from plot to plate for the vegetables and just a little bit further for the pork (which had to be taken off site and returned). Not bad going, we think!
Alison Belshaw (Project Manager) and family...who always very patiently wait when I say 'I must just take a photo of that'!
