Yesterday we hosted a visit from Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming.
Eight Food Co-ops Advisers had a tour of the farm and held their team meeting nearby. The advisers have just completed a lottery funded project to support local groups, communities and individuals to set up food co-ops or buying clubs throughout England. The project was part of the Making Local Food Work programme. The sun shone (for a change!) and Elodie and Lucy (the pigs) enjoyed the company. Andy's tour was, as usual, packed full of great information.
