Looking for Easter holiday activities for children? We're back for some Farm Forest School fun including shelter building, woodland crafts and campfire cookery.
We have two days of activities for children aged five to seven (15th and 17th April), and a day for those aged eight to twelve (16th April).
Children aged five to seven will spend the first day in woodland close to The Community Farm. Then the second day they'll return to the Farm for some more Forest School fun.
Here's some examples of the things children might get up to over the two days:
- working together on woodland craft projects
- learning how to safely use hand tools
- building a shelter
- meeting and feeding the pigs
- planting activities
- fun nature and farm themed games
- harvesting veg to prepare and cook over a campfire
- not to mention enjoying a good story around the campfire!
- shelter building
- charcoal making
- environmental art
- learning how to safely use hand tools to make woodland crafts
- cookery over a campfire
