More than 40 local chefs from the Chefs' Forum arrived at the farm about 3pm today. From many top restaurants in Bristol and Bath, included amongst them were Josh Eggleton from the Pony and Trap and Martin Blunos as well as chefs from the Ethicurean to name but a few. Andy gave them a tour of the farm, showing how important good soil fertility is for growing great organic veg and describing how difficult this year had been for growers.
After the tour, the chefs picked produce from the farm and cooked up a range of tasty salads. Photos of the tour are shown, photos of the cooking and eating to follow but for now, here's a link to what some of them said about the day in Twitter!
