We have always known how incredible our members are, after all, they helped us to get started in the first place.
We now know even more what a crucial role they play to the success of this project. Last week we let them know that the weather in 2012 had a very big impact on our business. Tough times caused by something we couldn't control.
Since Friday morning we have had donations and loans offered to us of almost £7,000 so far. This will enable us to buy our seed potatoes so we have crops later in the year, erect the polytunel frame we've had for a while and buy a cover for it - more protected crops mean we're less vulnerable to the weather.
