Summer Solstice Forage & Make - fermented wild teas and herbal infusions
Join us at the farm to delve into the world of foraging and use the seasonal ingredients we find to make something to take away with you!
Join Leah on the longest day of the year to soak up the Summer sun and explore the beautiful range of edible and medicinal wildflowers, foliage and fruits that the Summer has to offer.
There are so many wonderful wild foods to be sampled at this time of the year. You’ll be guided through the identification process, learn about the practical uses of everything we find, before sustainably harvesting your own ingredients to take back to the yurt and craft your own wild teas and herbal infusions. This will include an old traditional method for making a fermented tea which is packed with health benefits. Hands-on experience to help you get to grips with using wild ingredients in your everyday life.
